Why Locals Love Us

Why Paolo's is one of the best restaurants in Saugus.

It's not the marketing. It's the kitchen, the team, and the standard we hold ourselves to every shift — across both menus.

Built from scratch, every day

Tortillas pressed in-house. Salsas made fresh. Birria braised for three hours. Griot marinated overnight. Nothing arrives in a bag from a truck.

Real hospitality, not a script

Our team is trained to read the room — date night, family dinner, quick pickup. You're treated like a regular from visit one.

Two cuisines done right

We don't dabble. Both the Haitian and Mexican menus are built and run by people who care about every plate.

What Locals Are Saying

Top-rated. Local favorite. Reviewed by Saugus.

"Best griot I've had outside of my mom's kitchen — and the birria tacos are the real deal. Where else can you get Haitian and Mexican this good in one spot?"
Maria G. · Google Review
"Drove from Salem and it was worth it. Margaritas are unreal and the legume was incredible. Finally a place that takes both menus seriously."
Derek T. · Google Review
"Already a local favorite for our crew. The pikliz with the al pastor tacos is dangerous. Welcoming staff and a real hospitality vibe."
